Our Chapter

With over 1200 men initiated through the ranks of Gamma Upsilon Zeta, our Lambda Chi Alpha chapter continues a legacy on N C State's campus that dates back to 1925. Not only do we continue to excel in Academics, Intramurals, Philanthropic events and Community Service, we have a pretty good time too. 
 
Brotherhood

Brotherhood is the foundation of our fraternity and the origin of our success.

Lambda Chi is a home away from home. Our chapter house is both a source of pride and the rallying point for our many events, but it represents something larger. At our house, we forge lifetime bonds, hone our leadership skills, and push each other to be better. 

Social

 We believe the college experience includes balancing academic and extracurricular activities with an active social life. While the fraternity offers a multitude of academic, leadership, and philanthropic opportunities, the fraternity also presents a myriad of social events and networking opportunities. Over the course of the year, we host dozens of social events that give the brothers and students from neighboring schools a chance to mingle and unwind. For brothers, other social events include mixers with local sororities, formal date evenings, and invite only house events

Philanthropy

The men of Lambda Chi Alpha believe in contributing to our community and serving the needs of the less fortunate. Food Drives, Blood Drives and many other altruistic endeavors help forge the type of citizen that will always be helping others. 

Alumni

Our Ritual calls us all to remain loyal and faithful stewards of Lambda Chi Alpha no matter where we end up. Member involvement through alumni chapters both locally (chapter-level) and internationally (through regional or geographical areas) only helps to strengthen the overall organization.

Academics

As we are all students we understand this is the #1 reason we are all here. Academic excellence is our priority, so we see to it that our operations are accommodating of our brothers’ academic needs.

Leadership

In Lambda Chi Alpha, you will be given the opportunity to develop leadership abilities that will help you throughout your college career and beyond. These skills will be fostered by holding offices and working on committees in our fraternity and within the campus community. At Lambda Chi Alpha, there is always a leadership opportunity awaiting you.
